Holy Crow Beads is a studio and gallery in artist Beverley Smith's studio, located 2 hrs. north of Toronto just west of Collingwood in the Town of Blue Mountains.
You can come by by appointment but the shop is now closed and I am not giving classes. After 12 years the studio is now my working studio where I can experiment with beads and mixed media.
Beverley Smith has been a professional artist since graduating from Sheridan College (The School of Design) and weaving college in Stockholm Sweden in the early 70's. She moved from Toronto to the Beaver Valley in 1980. She has become well known locally not only for her textile art, but also for her murals, maps and whimsical illustrations of the area.
"It was trips to Africa that inspired me to work with beads and now I have found that beading is the perfect marriage of my passion for colour, texture, painting and design.
I love the infinite variety of beads, their combinations, and techniques, as well as the continuous stream of new ideas. I cannot think of anything I'd rather do with my imagination, my hands and my time...

Besides working in her studio, Beverley has run beading workshops in Myanmar (2014) and Uganda (6 times since 2010). She participated in an international bead conference in Istanbul (2007) and the “Trade and Impact Conference: women entrepenures Africa and the middle east in Morocco (2016).
“I am always on the look out for new adventures in the bead world, where ever that takes me.”
